Memorial Day

Today is memorial day and it is one of those holidays that people need to stop and think about its significance for a while. This is one of those days that I'm happy I took so many history classes in school and have and understanding of how much sacrifice has taken place in order for me to live the life that I do now.

So a special thanks goes out to all those who have fought on my behalf and given a part of their life so I may live mine.

I recently hit a big milestone in my car.  We've had a good six years together and she's been an amazing car.

Beer Festival San Luis Obispo

After my trip to the bay, I stopped in San Luis Obispo to visit my college roommates. Beerfest was going on at the Madonna Inn. There were soooo many people!

It was 80 bucks for a ticket and then all the beer was free. They provided water and bread to eat as well. The live music wasn't bad either.

One thing I really noticed was how many beautiful young people there were. I should go meet some of them in Santa Barbara.

San Fran the redemption

Last weekend in the bay for bay to breakers ess rough on mind body and soul. This weekend I'm looking to have a much more relaxing time.

Today I hung out with my my old roommate and good friend Deanna Elias. We got lunch, played corn hole and got dinner together. Once her boyfriend and my old roommate Trevor got off work we went to nightlife art the science museum. It's a Thursday night activity and this week was disco themed.

There was so much cool stuff! There was a full simulated rainforest, a full aquarium, and lots of music and cocktails.

Fleetwood Mac at the HP Pavilion

Last night my old roommate and I saw Fleetwood Mac at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. Cory, my roommate, lives up north but I left early from work and drove up from Santa Barbara.I also took Thursday off so I could have an extra long memorial day weekend.I'm liking forward to the break but I'm a little nervous about how much works waits for me when I return.
